About
Shannah Imbruglia is a fiber artist and educator whose work reflects on the brilliant history of collecting and domesticating nature. Focusing on the exploration of how the desire to collect has made an effect on society today, she influences conversation through her textile flora creations. In addition to her studio practice, Shannah teaches workshops on different skills such as weaving, sewing and natural dye within her community. She has worked in the Milwaukee Public School District as an art educator, as well as at the Savannah College of Art and Design, teaching summer seminar textile classes. She believes in the power of education, no matter what age.
